Dr. Jeffrey D. Rhodes

Dr. Jeffrey D. Rhodes, or Dr. J, is a 1984 graduate of Austin College in Sherman, TX. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1988. Then, he completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry in 1990. He has completed specialty fellowships at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. While at Baylor College of Dentistry, he published research in growth and development of young children’s faces. In addition, he has taught dental students at Baylor College of Dentistry, and is now teaching pediatric dental residents at Jordan Valley Community Center in Springfield, MO.

His special interests lie in the growth and development of children’s smiles. He is passionate about ensuring that children receive education on how to have healthy, beautiful smiles for life.

Dr. J is also active in the community, serving on many boards, such as the Corporate Leadership Council of the Walton Arts Center and as a Southwestern District Trustee for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). He grew up in Dallas, but has been coming to Northwest Arkansas his whole life to visit family.

Dr. Andrew Burriss

Dr. Andrew Burriss, or Dr. Andrew, is a 2009 graduate of The Ohio State University. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2013. Following graduation he worked for two years in a private practice in Collierville, Tennessee.

He then completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Bon Secours St. Mary’s of Richmond. While he was there, he gained an appreciation for the importance of education for the prevention of dental disease in children. He also received the skills necessary to care for special needs patients.

Dr. Andrew looks forward to working with children every day and wants to give every child the foundation for long-lasting, healthy smiles for years to come. Dr. Andrew is a native of Collierville, TN.

Dr. Mackenzie Roblee

Dr. Mackenzie Roblee received her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in 2014, followed by earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M (formerly Baylor) College of Dentistry in 2018. With a passion for helping others and making a positive impact, Dr. Roblee practiced dentistry in Fort Worth, Texas for three years before relocating to NWA.
Driven by a commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Roblee strives to build meaningful relationships with each individual she treats, delivering the highest standard of dental care with kindness and compassion.
In 2022, Dr. Roblee married Dr. Thomas Roblee, embarking on a new chapter while continuing her dedication to dentistry. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys traveling, reading, and leisure time on the lake, enriching her life and well-being outside of the clinic.

Dr. Hannah McMillon

Dr. Hannah is a dentist known for her kind and gentle way with children. She tries her very best to ease the fears and anxieties of her patients, and make them comfortable in the dental chair. Dr. Hannah treats her patients as if they were her own little ones, and feels very lucky and blessed to get to watch them grow up in her care. She takes great pride in her work, and sees dentistry as one of the major ways she can make a positive difference in the world. When she graduated dental school, Dr. Hannah promised God that she would use her knowledge and skills to make the world a better place and has done her very best to keep that promise. 

Dr. Hannah attended her first year of college at the University of California San Diego. She then transferred to Pacific Union College where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and a minor in biology. She completed her dental training at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Hannah has since received additional training and experience in pediatric dentistry and is also certified in Pediatric Oral Conscious Sedation. She has worked in a pediatric dental office in Tulsa, OK for the past five and a half years and just recently moved to NW Arkansas to be closer to family.

Dr. Hannah loves reading, volunteering, and spending time with friends & family. She grew up in sunny San Diego, CA and still enjoys the local pastimes of sea kayaking, snorkeling, and tidepooling. Her family immigrated from India when she was two years old and she understands Tamil (a South Indian dialect). Her husband is a cute ginger business analyst who works from home, and they have two adorable but busy toddler boys who keep them on their toes!

Dr. Kristi Gorman

Meet Dr. Kristi Gorman, a dedicated advocate for restoring smiles and empowering patients through myofunctional therapy at Smile Shoppe. With a profound passion for dental care, I find fulfillment in guiding patients towards optimal oral health while embracing the latest advancements in dentistry.

My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in marketing with a health emphasis from the University of the Ozarks in 2002, followed by earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma in 2009. Utilizing the latest dental technology and staying abreast of industry innovations allows me to enhance patient care and satisfaction continuously.

Beyond the clinic, I cherish moments with my adventurous husband, Aaron, and our two delightful children. Together, we explore the beauty of Arkansas, from lakeside adventures to traversing Bentonville’s scenic trails and immersing ourselves in the cultural richness of Crystal Bridges Museum. As a native Arkansan hailing from Mena, I harbor a deep affection for this region and its people. Additionally, my love for travel fuels my desire to discover the wonders of our nation, enriching my perspective and passion for serving our community.

Dr. Taruna Bolding

Dr. Taruna, a native of Houston, Texas, has proudly called Northwest Arkansas home for nearly 30 years. Born in Ajmer, India, she immigrated with her parents and two brothers at the age of two. Dr. Taruna graduated from Wellesley College in Massachusetts, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology. She then completed her dental training at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.

With a deep-rooted passion for dentistry, Dr. Taruna finds immense joy in treating her young patients, crafting positive dental experiences that brighten their lives one smile at a time. Raised in a family of healthcare providers, she embraces her lineage’s dedication to enhancing patients’ well-being.
Dr. Taruna’s commitment extends beyond treatment; she takes pride in educating her patients on their dental needs, empowering them to lead healthier, happier lives. Her compassionate and gentle demeanor fosters a nurturing environment, ensuring each patient feels at ease.
Specializing in teen care, Dr. Taruna delights in connecting with her teenage patients, engaging with their interests and aspirations. Beyond her dental practice, she indulges her love for travel, hiking, pickleball, and tennis, with a goal to explore all 63 national parks.

Dr. Jessica Sliger

Dr. Jessica Sliger is an esteemed member of the Smile Shoppe family, bringing her expertise and passion for pediatric dentistry to our Springdale location. Following her residency at UKMC, Dr. Sliger transitioned from a career in education to become a superhero pediatric dentist. With a focus on providing compassionate care, she is dedicated to ensuring the oral health and well-being of children in our community.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Sliger is committed to giving back to the community. She generously volunteers her time and expertise to various philanthropic initiatives, including contributing to a mobile dentistry van, which extends access to dental care to underserved populations.
Dr. Sliger’s dedication to her profession, coupled with her commitment to serving others, makes her a valuable asset to Smile Shoppe and a trusted partner in promoting oral health for children and families in our community.
